Our client, a commercial management consulting firm, is seeking multiple SAP Functional Consultants with expertise in one of the following modules - FI/CO, CRM, SRM or HRM.
Consult to various Federal Government clients in the Canberra region, no further travel required.
In this role, you will service the client's base through the provision of exceptional customer service, including but not limited to SAP implementations/configurations, upgrades, support and maintenance. Assist with the further development of the client's capability within each client site/account.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Investigating and Scoping initial stages of a project or a software implementation and up-gradation.
Fulfilling the duty of analysing the current business processes and scenarios.
Forecasting the consequences of installing new software on these processes.
Studying the client site and recommending or suggesting solutions.
Securing client approval to move ahead on the project.
Reviewing and studying configurations after the client has accepted the analysis and suggestions made.
Submitting reports to the Service Delivery Manager.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholder to maintain the coordination with employees, project managers and everyone who has to get well versed with the new software.
Providing adequate training to the client so that they do not face any difficulty in working with it later.
Clearing any doubts and queries from the client about the new software.
Continuously testing the software so that it runs successfully and suggesting improvements.
To be a success in this role, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
Expertise in ERP / SAP implementation and configuration in one or more of the above mentioned modules
Strong business processes knowledge and some project management capability
Ability to meet project and work related deadlines and manage and mitigate risk
Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
Client facing capability including the confidence of delivering presentations, and
Ability to handle third party procurement systems and resources

My client are a leading Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and ETL Consulting organisation, who are currently looking to hire a highly skilled Senior ETL Consultant, with an extensive understanding of Informatica. Working on-site at a large Government organisation, this role offers the flexibility of the public sector, and the earning potential and challenging environment of Professional Services. You will be using cutting edge technologies, and have experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. The role: Take responsibility for architectural reviews, solution design and delivery of Informatica ETL solutions to a large government organisation. Actively engage Senior Management to ascertain complex business requirements. Lead and mentor end user staff, advising on ETL best practice and methodologies. Ensure data quality across numerous data migration and upgrade projects. Liaise effectively with various aspects of the organisation, ensuring that the ETL solution is aligned with all business user requirements. Oversee the migration of SQL code to Informatica. Work closely with the Data Warehouse team, ensuring that all migrations into the Teradata Warehouse are successful, and that high data quality is achieved. Required skills and experience: Extensive understanding of ETL methodologies and concepts. Advanced skills in Informatica PowerCentre is essential. Commercial experience working in an enterprise Data Warehouse environment (Teradata, Oracle, Netezza etc) is required. Ability to effectively understand complex business requirements, and communicate effectively with technical staff to ensure that requirements are engineered accurately. Any experience with Datastage, SSIS, ODI or Teradata Utilities would be highly regarded, although not essential.
