We are currently recruiting an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a major civil contracting and development company in Queensland. Initially, you will construct a recently won $30m mine infrastructure project in the Bowen Basin. There will be accommodation while on site and a roster of 3 weeks on then 1 week off (with every Sunday off). Family accommodation near the site may be able to be organized. You have the option of residing in Brisbane and working on a FIFO basis, or being relocated to the Mackay/Townsville region and working on a DIDO system. Relocation assistance will be provided for you and your family including initial accommodation while you get settled. A significant site allowance of $25k is also included in this project as well as a fully maintained company vehicle. Candidates relocating may also be eligible for a Living away from home allowance. As the Project Manager, you will ultimately be responsible for the overall project performance against a number of objectives including: Commercial/financial outcome HR & IR management Planning Health, Safety& Environment Quality Construction Client and stakeholder relationships The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, preferably in a Principal Contractor environment on projects up to or over $30m and a thorough knowledge of State Road Authority (eg RTA/DMR) specifications. You will have previous experience working across medium to large infrastructure projects, including bulk earthworks, pavements, highway construction projects and/or Mining Infrastructure projects.
