Initially your work will be focused on the assembly of our client's products. Over time, for the right person, you may be able to progress your career into an electronics designer position. Over time, you may also be required to travel, both nationally and internationally.
This position could be full time or part time (minimum 25 hours per week) and therefore may be suitable for a student still completing their studies.
Within this position you will be required to:
• Assemble, test, maintain, repair and ship our client’s vision-based electronic systems;
• Order components by dealing with suppliers and maintain stock levels;
• Maintain an electronics workshop environment – keeping it safe and tidy;
• Provide assistance to hardware engineering staff for prototyping and manufacturing of both mechanical and electronic devices;
• Assist in the process of continuous improvement for a better working environment and manufacturing processes;
You will be trained to become familiar with our clients products.
To be suitable for consideration applicants must be:
• Fluent with computer hardware
• Experienced in soldering and electronics assembly
• Fluent with computer software usage (Word, Excel, MS Operating Systems)
• Strong verbal communicators
• Tertiary electronics qualified/certified (or currently studying)
